Pumping is the practice of applying suction to a body part, which forces that body part to become engorged. Sexual heretics pump up cocks, clits, labia, and sphincters. For today, let’s stick to the clit.
Eight thousand nerve endings! Swollen, purpling, suckled. Pumps increase the blood flow, promote vaginal lubrication, and enhance the erotic response. There are a number of devices available commercially; these range from the prescription-only Eros Clitoral Therapy Device to Clitoral Pump Kits.
But will you or your partner even like clitoral suction? For a simple starter toy, I recommend the Selene. An easy hand pump will generate suction on the clit, and the Selene also vibrates. The rim is made of silicone, so it can be warmed in advance and washed afterwards. Yvonne K. Fulbright, in her book Touch Me There!: A Hands-On Guide to Your Orgasmic Hot Spots, wrote that
This pump, which may be used with or without its vibratory feature, pulls blood into the clitoral area and the surrounding area, powerfully stimulating the clitoris. Created by sexologist Dr. Laura Berman, the Selene is said to increase genital lubrication, sensation, and the ease of attaining orgasm.
If you enjoy suction, you’re going to find it gets a little repetitive over time. It needs a little something. Some oomph. Some variety. In the coming weeks, I’ll show you simple, inexpensive methods for improving your suction toys. I’m going to show you how to make them better than anything that’s out there.
I’m going to show you how to:
- make your own suction pumps and cups,
- send erotic electricity through your suction cups,
- modify a Hitachi into a vibrating, electrified clit pump,
- get more precise control over the suction strength, and
- turn that constant suction into pulsation — more like a human mouth.
So stay tuned!

where can you purchase a vac-u-lock base? I see on JT’s Stockroom that they sell the vac-u-lock handles, but where do you get just the base that you were working with?
I think you were replying to my post about making your own fucking machine? Anyway, here’s one source. Eight dollars plus shipping. Good luck with that!
RE: Your own fcking machine
Amazing article, buying the base now. Going to buy a ryobi saw this weekend, thanks again!
I was wondering if there is any other hardening glue you recommend, like liquid cement or such? I have a little trouble finding epoxy in larger (6oz and up) sizes that will be enough for this job under $15. Any ideas?
Hi Tom! You’ll need, at most, two ounces of epoxy.
Please remember safety! 1. File off the saw teeth, 2. Control the speed with a router, and 3. Use enough lubricant.
I just received my adapter today, and it is smaller then I thought, 2oz does look like it should be fine. Safety of course, Id hate to end up being one of those ppl on the news.
I think I will drill a hole through the blade and attach a small nut and bolt, just enough to add some resistance to keep the blade from slipping out of the epoxy. Thanks again! keep up the great work
